1960-70's Sutcliffe Boats Wire Display Stand. These stands were made by hand in the Horsforth factory from hard brass wire bent around a bench top jig. The stands were only supplied to good retailers of Sutcliffe Boats throughout the UK, Each stand would display 4 shiny boats in any toy shop window. Finished in either cream or silver, and this one is silver. A waterslide transfer applied to the header board advertised the Sutcliffe brand.
